Due to some strong winds instead of the kajak tour we made an interesting tour in bird conservation
We left with a 4-wheel car Akaroa with destination Fly Bay (see: GPS track below for localisation).
The tour was organised by https://www.pohatu.co.nz/ and can only be recommended. Ben, our tour guide is devoted to the conservation of Little Penguin (see pic below). This activity comes on a voluntary basis by Ben and his team.
