The crews had to rig the boats themselves. A a petty officer from the navy gave tips. All togehter there were 24 boats, all taken by a crew.
To get out of the harbour, you have to row. That proved to be more difficult than expected. Difficult to row and difficult to steer.
Once you around the harbour wall, begin setting the sails. But continue rowing until all sails are up!
Only 2 of the 8 crew members need to row on board.
