Paihia to Auckland
Only 230 kms. However with a gravel road detour owing to construction works on SH 1 (SH : State Highway).
Arrived in Auckland we returned the Toyota RAV4 after 2.715 kms – and no issue, but with some difficulties to find the car rental company: the map of the navigation system was not updated and did not know the street. We did it with our smartphone.
A short first tour of the inner district of Auckland and a restaurant at the harbour concluded our day.
